Prescriptions
We dispense all NHS prescriptions. Whether your prescription has been issued by your GP, your dentist, a nurse or any other NHS practitioner we will be more than happy to dispense your medication for you.
We also accept private prescriptions. As with all things that are "private" we have to charge you for your private prescription. We are confident that we will offer you the lowest price for your private prescription compared to any other pharmacy. When you have a private prescription we recommend that you shop around for the best price. Once you have found your lowest price ask the pharmacy in question to write the price down and stamp their quote. Bring this with you when you come to us and we are confident that we will beat the quote you are given.
Our use of a number of suppliers, including the two largest suppliers in the UK, means that we have access to any medication that is currently available in England. This means that if we don't have something in stock, we can usually source it for the next day, and if we can't get it... there's probably a problem with it at manufacturing level.
Some medicines are not readily available and have to be made specially. We use a well established laboritory for our specials where all products are individually made under the supervision of a number of specialists. All products are also checked for quality before they leave the lab.
In other words if it is made or if it can be made, we can get it. If your surgery is in our area we can even order, collect and deliver your prescription for you free of charge. If you like to order it yourself, you still can, just let us know when you have and we'll still collect and deliver it.
